2026 World Cup Survivor Pool Rules

$10 per entry, payable to @Joshua-Bremer on Venmo. You may purchase as many entries as you like.

Basic rules

Each pick round, every entry must pick one team from the matches in that pick round.
Once you pick a team, you cannot pick that team again unless you use a revival pick.
During the group stage, your pick survives with a win or draw and loses only if the team loses.
During the knockout stage, your pick survives only if your team wins to advance.
During the group stage, each entry is allowed one loss. A second loss eliminates that entry.
During the knockout stage, one loss eliminates the entry.
No pick counts as a loss.
There are no buybacks and no solo-pick bonus.

The winner is the last surviving entry.
If multiple entries survive through the final, they tie and the payout rules apply.

A revival pick allows one team previously picked in the group stage to be reused once.
Revival picks may be used only in the knockout stage.
The same team cannot be revived twice.
Any entry that survives the group stage brings revival picks into the knockout stage based on group-stage performance.
Zero losses in the group stage earns two revival picks for the knockout stage.
One loss in the group stage earns one revival pick for the knockout stage.

Picks can be submitted only while an admin has that pick round open.
If multiple picks are submitted for the same pick round, the most recent valid submission is official.
Public results stay private until an admin marks that pick round as public.
